Service

Yards must be easily accessible.

Lawns must be cut on a regular basis, without large amounts of leaves or debris. We can only pick up what we see.

Gates should be free of snow, ice, locks (unless key or combination was supplied). If we cannot enter through the gate, we will return the following week. You will be charged for a service visit.

Aggressive dogs must be left indoors on the scheduled service day(s). We will ring your bell and ask you to bring the dogs inside. If you are not home and your dogs are out, you will be charged for a service visit.

2-day notice required for vacation service suspension or cancellations.

No. At The Poo Pros, we do not require a contract. This is a month to month service. If you would like to cancel service, please notify us by telephone or email within 48 hours of your scheduled service or 48 hours before your billing date.  We bill on the 1st of every month.

The Poo Pros will remove the waste from your property and dispose of it per local ordinance. This is included with your monthly service charge.

If you are not satisfied with the service provided, contact The Poo Pros within 24 hours of service and we will come back to retrieve/rectify anything we may have missed, free of charge.

For the summer holidays, we understand that our customers may want to use their backyards for special occasions. We will be happy to set up a service appointment 24-72 hours prior to the holiday to ensure your get-together is poo-free!

If service cannot be performed due to inaccessibility to your property for any reason, whether it be due to a protective pup on the loose or a gate that cannot be opened, for example, service will be resumed for the following week. Discounts will not be issued due to inability to access the yard.

If your gate is locked, The Poo Pros will not force the gate open or climb the fence, so please leave your gate unlocked on your service day. If the gate must remain locked, prior arrangements must be made for your tech to gain access.

Customer satisfaction surveys are sent periodically as well as follow-up calls by the Operations Manager. The results are then shared with the pet waste technician. During the training process, we ensure our pet waste technicians are aware of the satisfaction surveys and what they will be graded on. The results directly affect their performance evaluations. Poor workmanship/Poor customer service will not be tolerated.

Payments

For an initial clean-up or one-time service, payment is due before services are performed. For recurring service, pre-payment of one month in advance is required. Our customers are set up on recurring credit/debit card payment through The Poo Pros, credit/debit cards will be charged on the 1st of each month for that month’s service.

Many customers set up recurring payments through The Poo Pros directly. Charging for each week of service means that sometimes your invoice would be more when there are 5 weeks in a month, rather than 4. A flat monthly rate means that you know exactly what amount is due each month.

Yes, we do! In our area, it snows and melts quite frequently. If snow covers the ground, we do our best to find everything. If we don’t find everything, then we will have to work twice as hard once some of the snow melts. Maintaining service through the winter guarantees no spring clean-up ever again!

Depending on the situation, we will either try to re-schedule you during the week or just come the following week. We don’t charge for the extra work.

By retaining your service through the winter, your yard is constantly being maintained. Through the winter the snow completely melts numerous times (hopefully more times than not). During the thaws, you will receive a complete cleaning so that once the spring arrives you won’t have to worry about a spring cleaning, because you won’t have one. The cost of a spring cleaning is more than one month of maintenance cleaning. You won’t have to pay for a spring cleaning ever again! Plus, when you retain service with us, your rate is locked in (unless dog quantity or yard size changes).
